As Rotary Club of Kolhapur prepared to embark on the Rotary year 2026–27, the club invested significant time and effort in equipping its leaders and members with the knowledge, vision, and inspiration required to make the year impactful.
Learning Beyond Boundaries
The journey began with enthusiastic participation in the District Learning Assembly (DLA) and District Team Learning Seminar-2 (DTLS-2) held on 25th April 2026 at V. S. Salgaonkar Institute, Goa. A remarkable contingent of 25 members from our club attended the district event, demonstrating our commitment to learning and leadership development.
The assembly provided valuable insights into Rotary’s priorities, best practices, and district goals. Members returned with renewed enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a deeper understanding of how they could contribute to strengthening our club and serving the community more effectively.
Movement President – A Moment of Pride for Rotary Kolhapur
The club celebrated another significant milestone on 29th May 2026 when Rtn. Pradeep Pasmal was elected as the President of Rotary Kolhapur Movement for the Rotary year 2026–27.
His selection is a matter of immense pride for our club and reflects the confidence reposed in his leadership and dedication to Rotary values. We congratulate him wholeheartedly and wish him every success as he leads the Rotary Kolhapur Movement towards greater achievements.
Sankalp – Building Strong Leadership
Recognising that a strong club begins with a well-prepared leadership team, the Rotary Club of Kolhapur organised “Sankalp” – Training for the Board of Directors on 25th June 2026.
The comprehensive training programme was conducted by eminent Rotary leaders Rtn. Amit Mate, Rtn. Siddharth Patankar, Rtn. Arvind Krishnan, and PDG Pratap Puranik. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including:

- Inspiring Future Leaders
- Serving Beyond Self
- District and TRF Opportunities
- Governor’s Vision
- Our Commitment
A total of 16 Board members actively participated in the programme, engaging in meaningful discussions and gaining valuable perspectives that will guide the club’s initiatives throughout the year. The training reinforced the importance of teamwork, strategic planning, and service excellence while aligning the Board with the district’s vision.

These preparatory activities were more than just events on the calendar—they were investments in leadership, fellowship, and service. From learning at the district level to celebrating leadership achievements and strengthening our Board through focused training, every step reflected our commitment to excellence.
As we step into the Rotary year 2026–27 in July 2026, we do so with confidence, purpose, and a shared vision. Guided by capable leaders, empowered by knowledge, and united by the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self, the Rotary Club of Kolhapur is ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the communities we serve.
The foundation has been laid. The team is prepared. The vision is clear.
